Today is Christmas Day, which means that Santa must have come and given you all of the gifts you would have ever dreamed of getting. Or you might not have gotten anything at all – and that’s annoying, because Santa and his sat nav isn’t all that it’s made out to be. Whether you’re in camp receiving gifts, or camp not receiving gifts, it’s the holiday season and today is the biggest day of the year for some people. It’s a time to see your family and friends, a time for you to be with loved ones, in front of a warm fireplace. It’s a time to eat some delicious food, which will take an absolute age to wash up. Above all though, it’s a time to relax.
We’re just here to say that we wish you all a very merry Christmas this year. It’s not been the best of years, with a lot of political and geographical unease, but at least we can sit down for one day and just enjoy the company of people we love. Don’t forget to check out Boxing Day sales if you’re so inclined, as you may be able to nab a stupendeous deal in the process. But for now, it’s time for us to wind down and enjoy what we give and receive from one another. Don’t forget to speak to your family this Christmas, don’t forget to eat and drink plentiful, but please be safe on the roads – It’s dangerous enough, let alone what this time of the year does to people on them roads.
This is just a simple post wishing you a happy holiday today – But why don’t you let us know what you received in the comments below, or over on Facebook, Twitter or Reddit. We’ve got one more week of full content ahead of us, before we start afresh in 2017. Let’s make 2017 an amazing year to remember… But let’s enjoy the closing chapter of this rather momentous year. In the coming week, we’ll be discussing upcoming trends in video games and cosplay, as well as doing a New Years Eve special GeekOut South-West meetup event.
