NaNoWriMo 2019 Starts Today!

Oh dear, that arrived rather suddenly, didn’t it? NaNoWriMo is here once again, which means that this year, it’s my turn to give it a go. I mentioned a while back that when NaNoWriMo came around, the articles will mostly be pre-written, so I do apologise if you see lots of pre-written content for a while… But hey, I thought I’d at least give you an idea about what my story’s about and of course, you’ll get an update in December when my story is complete and ready to be edited!

My NaNoWriMo Story: Fly The Great Ravine

Just fifty years ago, The Great Ravine was formed. A fracture in the world, seeping out disturbingly dark fey energies. With it, a powerful curse consumed the world of Orgnin, but worse still, the Humans have suffered huge losses. The Great Ravine acts as a cold reminder of that dark day. Much of civilisation has been unable to travel to one another; to rekindle relationships between towns and cities; to find old loved ones.

It has been fifty years too many since anyone has crossed the border where The Great Ravine now sits.

But now, five brave individuals will attempt to fly across the great ravine – But how? With the ingenuity of the Humans nearly wiped out and the Orks and Elves unable to replicate their technologies, how will our unlikely band of would-be adventurers get to the other side?

More importantly, what’s happened over there?

Find out more in December, when I’ll give you all a progress update on Fly The Great Ravine, the first story of the Orgnin Saga!

Wish me luck.

1,667 words per day. That’s not too hard, right?
