GeekOut Bristol Meet – December 7th: The Hogfather’s Here – Gallery

With the presence of Christmas so near, it’s only fair that we started to give out a few more presents. The attendees of Friday night’s GeekOut Bristol meet would be very aware of the presents that were being handed out; if people took part in our competition which was absolutely packed, they were all in with a chance of getting a present. All they had to do was answer one question correctly… Unfortunately, I was the one who made the questions, which proved to be pretty tricky. Still, there were Santa hats and more this past Friday, so check out what happened at our fun little event!

GeekOut Bristol Meet – 15th October: TRICK OR TREAT

Spooky scary skeletons send shivers down my spine, whilst sticks and stones may break my bones, the geeks will be out this night. Yes it’s true, GeekOut Bristol Meet is taking place once more in our favourite haunt, the Old Market Tavern. So come join us as we shake down the skeletons that make up the next meetup. GeekOut Bristol Meet – September 9th: HARRY POTTER

We’re feeling rather magical in Bristol, as we grab our Nimbus 2000’s and get prepared to set off to the Old Market Tavern for another night of fun and games. But we’re going to celebrate the amazingly creative world of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter, in the only way we know how: By getting people together to experience some objects from the Harry Potter world in our favourite local pub.

Meetup: 1,000+ Members and Counting

For those of you who aren’t aware, as a website/blog, we’ve been around since September 2013. In this time, we’ve met many people, we’ve done many competitions, we’ve ran many meetup events and we’ve constantly gotten bigger and better. As of yesterday, we’ve surpassed 1,000 Meetup members.
