NaNoWriMo 2019 – Less Than A Month To Go!

Genuinely exciting for writers and aspiring writers alike, NaNoWriMo is a huge challenge for anyone looking to complete a novel. Whether they’re experienced writers, aspiring novellists or just a hobbyist, NaNoWriMo is a set goal to work towards throughout the month of November. Now that we’re less than a month to go, I thought I’d talk vaguely about the story I’ve been working on the details for, as well as a bit of a general chat about writing in general and how I’m feeling leading up to the massive endeavour… Also about how Discord is helping me prepare, so there’s something! NaNoWriMo 2017: What You Need To Know

NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month, is an event that takes place annually in november. The event has been running since 1999 and in that time the company responsible for the event, also called National Novel Writing Month, has become a nonprofit. But what exactly is NaNoWriMo and what can you get out of the event? We’ve written about this event several times, but we’ve never written a sort of primer on how to get involved, or what you need to know. If the idea of writing a novel in a month sounds like a blast, a terrifying prospect, or something you find slightly curious – Then read on, as NaNoWriMo is a beast that should be taken on by all comers!
